my coldplay experience and mild flirtation moment with Demis Nikolaidis
Ola mga loka!!!
what a smooth experience last saturday. coldplay concert could be a candidate for the best concert i have ever seen! and may free Demis Nikolaidis experience pa, tickles me everytime i think of! life could be really just exciting sometimes.
so eto kwento...
i can say na I'm a fan of coldplay. i just love their songs especially the old ones, countless times ko kinanta ang yellow whenever im inlove. such a great great song at shempre pag senti hits naman...trouble,the scientist, shiver (for my unrequited loves) aaaahhh such a great great band!!! i had a conversation with the late Chico Molina noon how much we wanted to see this band live. inintay ko ren yan sa pilipinas no,ewan ba kung bakit di sila pumunta sa aten.
2 hours drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. My editor and i got to emirates palace really early,para iwas traffic and it's good to be early noh. we were there at 4pm only to find out that we only have 2 press passes for LIVE and LIFESTYLE magazine. TEKA we're supposed to get 4 and one of those passes should be PHOTO PASS for me! i check the list of photographers, the are only 10 photogs listed at wala don pangalan ko..ay anak ng putakte naman o. so i guess di ako makakapag shoot! nakaka imbyerna, i been bragging about this coldplay concert sa facebook for a week na...tang ina naman tas wala akong photo pass.haynako!!! nakakahiya..hindi ako mag-fe-fezbuk for a month! hahaha
my editor still gave the PRESS pass meaning it's not a valid PHOTO pass MEANING I CANT TAKE PHOTOS!
well okay lang din, at least makakapanood ako ng coldplay...............PERO HINDEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
IM BRUTAL GRACE THEY DONT CALL ME BRUTAL FOR NOTHING!!!hahaha so nilabas ko lahat ng skills na natutunan ko sa pinas, sa PULP. para makapag puslit ng camera
1. at the entrance..smile lang...smile sa bouncers, i small talk mo kung pwede
2.ask them questions, san CR,san bilihan ng pagkain, san nearest exit basta magtanong ka
3.put your kikay kit with lipstick and napkin sa super visible area ng bag mo.
4. dont be too much excited at nakapagpuslit ka ng camera, ilabas mo lang camera mo sa right timing.
5. make some friends with the crowd, ask them to cover you while you're shooting
6. take only photos on the right timing, remember ang securities pag nakakita na sila ng SLR sasawayin ka na kahit pa ipilit mong hobbyist ka lang.
so napuslit ko nga si Kaleo my cam...so waiting na lang ako na mag start ang show.
Bad weather that day...umaaraw umuulan, pero chong wala namang ulan sa middle east e. pero later that night na realize ko ang significant ng ulan.

UMULAN NA NGA!!! mother F mababasa na ako wag lang ang camera ko. I've seen some guys na nakasilong sa first aid tent. they invited me!!! hmmm europeans..nice ALAM NA TO! kung kay Mother Ricky Reyes pa....SHINE NA! GO PHILIPPINES!!!
BOKAHAN SA TENT... Nakita nila ang Press Pass ID ko.
European #1:you're a journalist? sabi ko photographer ako at kailangan ko mag shoot ng mga tao so pinicturan ko sila
European #2 offered me his chair,his beer, a cigarette and even tried to light the yosi for me but his lighter was not working
European #2: "awww i stole this lighter and now that it's the perfect time to use it, well its just not working..this is karma" (naisip ko... hmmm sex kita jan e...biro lang po!) then he borrowed his posse's lighter to light my cigie.
tas kwentuhan na habang umuulan... they asked my nationality,"are you from burma? malasian? indonesian? thailander? ooohh philipineeee" you're from Manila? European # 3: "i used to know a lot of Philipine words..but i only remember this hmmm putol titi!" it made me really laugh. "can you translate that? he asked. edi sinabi ko translation at nagtawanan sila ng malupet...european # 4 of all the filipino words that you know, you remember the one which has DICK on it...tas tawanan na naman kame. captain daw ng barko ang daddy ni European #3 at ang mga workers/seamen daw don ay mostly pinoys. "i love filipinos ver fun to be with... (chika)" so ni interview pa ako ng konte ni European #2, san ako nakatira, kung matagal na ako sa Dubai,so rare daw na makakita sya ng girl photographer,he's such a big fan of coldplay daw...and all that shit, talk talk talk. haaay i like this feeling...yung nagpapakilala ka sa lalaki and you know he finds you interesting. tas ako naman ay sus ilang beses na ako nagpakilala..alam na alam ko na kung ano sasabihin. tas sinabi saken ni European #2 na he came all the way from Greece para lang manood ng coldplay....GREECE????? awww na miss ko ang boytoy ko na asa grecce ngayon. napaka tangang hirit ko "my BF is greek!" (huh? talaga ha..BF?) European # 2 "well tell him I'm with you, he probably knows me" Me: whats your name? European # 1 we're all greeks, he's the president of greece's football leage at sinabi nya ang pangalan na hindi ko naintindihan so ni type nalang sa cellphone ko. so naisip ko,na itong mga lalaking ito ay entourage ni greek #2 (kung totoo sinasabi nila ha)so i texted my boytoy greek kung kilala nya si Demis Nikolaidis. walang reply. so nagkwentuhan pa kame ng nagkwentuhan, biruan hirit na lang, tinuruan pa nila ako how to say "FUCK ME" in greece (nakalimutan ko) greek#4 have a picture with him (Demis) and tell your BF that he's your date to coldplay concert...at nagtawanan silang lahat. so i had my picture with Demis..during that time di pa ren pumasok sa utak ko na sikat nga sya.
pero the way he speaks...napaka smooth he's so confident,haaay lalaking lalaki. me likey. =)

nakahanap na ako ng tataguan ko while shooting. para akong sniper talaga. ang hassle mag shoot noh. securities, ang likot ni Chris martin,ang layo ko sa stage and heavy rain..pero naka tira pa ren ako. ako pa!!! e umulan na talaga ng malakas so tinago ko na ang camera ko at nag enjoy na lang a concert.
ang galing ng performance nila...from lights, yung projector,yung confetti na lumilipad lipad, yung boka ni chris martin na best audience daw ang abu dhabi...chika!!!basta ang ganda lahat. at ang fave moment ko nung kinanta nila yung yellow...shet umapaw ang damdamin ko. may yellow balloons na bigla na lang naglabasan tas sabayan pa ng malakas na buhos ng ulan and everyone is singing...
shit this is LOVE, para akong nasa music video. ang ganda ganda, the rain really adds up to the love vibes.i love it so much!!!
